Key expertise: Monitoring, Evaluation and Adaptation in development and emergency projects in the WASH, Food Security, Education, Cash Transfer and non-food item distribution.

Yves is an experienced MEL specialist with a track record in monitoring and evaluation of complex development and emergency programmes. He has developed many robust MEL systems through the design of collection and management tools, providing tailored capacity building to MEL teams, and deductive analysis of qualitative and quantitative data. Through this, Yves has supported the development of MEL plans, application of sampling statistics, data management and adaptive management, and report writing for many donors – including USAID, DfID, ECHO, BHA, UNICEF – bilateral agencies and NGOs. One of Yves’ goals is to contribute to improved decision-making and programme effectiveness by producing evidence-based information supported by monitoring, evaluation and learning systems.
